Home Survey

We make arrangements for a brief home visit, this is to carry out a full survey prior to the installation.

Our spray foam insulation technician makes an assessment of everything within the vicinity of the insulation.

They also make notes of any remedial repairs that need to be done prior to the application of the spray foam.

Preperation

Our installation crew will begin by covering any areas of the loft that are not being insulated.

Particular attention is paid to protecting the household & any valuables.

They do any remedial repair work that the insulation technician took notes of when carrying out his "Home Survey" inspection.

Membrane Installation

If a breathable membrane is required, our crew will install it along with any additional ventilation as necessary.

Any further remedial repairs to any felt or boarding will also take place.

Spray Foam Application

The final part of the process is the application of the spray foam itself.

Once applied, the foam expands to fill every nook & cranny of the insulated space & sets within seconds.

You are perfectly safe to stay within your home while the spray foam application is taking place.

There is no mess during the application & a typical insulation takes less than 3 hours from start to finish.

Even if you already have loft insulation, modern spray foam insulation is still a considerably better option than traditional fibreglass insulation or EPS boards.

It is considered a good idea to upgrade to a modern spray foam insulation, as the older insulation methods can deteriorate & become much less effective over time.
